CONGRATULATIONS

Anthony LaMarca and

The War on Drugs!

2005 BHS Band and Jazz Alumnus Anthony LaMarca (pictured on the right) is a member of Philly-based band The War on Drugs. They won this year's GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Album!

Congratulations to the 2015-2016 Boardman Band Council!  They kicked off their "Marching for Wheels" fundraising campaign at the end of last school year and raised over $8,000 to purchase two sport wheelchairs for the Band.  Kaitlin and Blake used the chairs throughout the season and the Florida trip.  With the extra money, they will be establishing a new scholarship in honor of the Windts.

We made the list again -  2006, 2009, 2015 and now 2016!
